Accessory Report: The Jaipur Necklace

A recent trip to India inspired the Jaipur Collection. As per usual the visit was exhilarating- women dressed in colorful saris dripped in gold jewelry, dirt road villages clamored with children and bazaars filled with intricately detailed houseware items in a kaleidoscope of colors. (An expedition I highly recommend to all in search of amazement!) The trip was so moving, that when back in New York designing these pieces, I was able to close my eyes and experience all the same sensations I felt while there- the touch of warm metal from gilded doorways, the smell of sand in the morning and the serene vision of elephants grazing in the afternoon sun. These wonderful experiences leave me with a feeling of great internal beauty which entail translate into beautiful designs that I envision my customers experience externally while wearing my creations.
